Albion puts LED display technology at forefront with new LiteStyle™ range

July 2011

Power PocketStandard bearers in a new range of LED technology display products, designed and manufactured in the UK by Albion, were seen for the first time in the UK on the company's stands at major exhibitions this year. LiteStyle Power Pocket and Power Beam are the first results of a strategic decision by the company to put new illumination and display technologies at the forefront of its wide-ranging capability.

The double-sided, acrylic Power Pocket adds the holographic effect of LED surface illumination to Albion's renowned cable and rod display systems, enabling the user's own poster graphics to be lit up with unparalleled impact. Consistent illumination across the pocket is guaranteed by the design of a special honeycomb light distribution grid on the surface of the acrylic.

Available in many standard 'A" sizes, LiteStyle Power Pockets are supplied as kits for use with 1.5mm cable, or 6mm rod, which feed the low voltage power supply direct to the pocket itself. Power consumption is very low and the LEDs themselves have a projected service life of up to 100,000 hours.

The LiteStyle Power Beam offers powerful LED illumination for any graphic displayed by an Albion 1.5mm cable or 6mm rod system. Available in widths to co-ordinate with standard 'A" sizes, the Power Beam also takes its low voltage supply direct from the cable or rod to which it is fixed.

Low running costs and a long service life are likely to ensure that the Power Beam will swiftly take over from more traditional forms of display lighting.

LiteStyle Power Pockets and Power Beams have numerous applications in the retail, leisure, corporate and public sectors, as they enhance the already exceptional versatility of Albion's cable and rod display systems.

Other products highlighted on the Albion exhibition stands in 2011 have included the Freestanders modular display system, equipped with both cable and rod components for mounting a variety of acrylic pockets and leaflet holders, selections from the Albion Display and Albion Elements component ranges and the Easi-Fix modular display system.
